Amanda White is passionate about leveraging technology to drive impactful change in the community, education, and the arts. Professionally, she has empowered Walmart associates to have secure, yet delightful consumer-grade technology experiences through her roles in both Technical Project Management and Cybersecurity Engineering. Outside of her daily job duties, you can spot Amanda marrying her creativity and sharp execution to curate meaningful STEAM experiences for a variety of audiences – ranging from seasoned technologists in Walmart’s Black Technology Network as a leadership team member to showing industry newcomers the magic of tech by sharing her personal experiences during industry conferences such as Grace Hopper and Afro Tech. White’s journey in technology began during her undergraduate trajectory at The University of Alabama, where she studied Management Information Systems. Excited about the opportunities at the intersection of business, technology, and new ventures, she received her Executive MBA with an Entrepreneurship & Innovation focus at The University of Arkansas. At the Walton College of Business, she has served on both the EMBA Student Advisory Board and the Associate Dean’s Young Professional Council where she helps drive event programming for Information Systems students.
