Mr. Simms is a strong advocate for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) who works relentlessly in his community to develop life-changing programs such as “Introduce a Girl to STEAM Day”  which has impacted over 2,000 female students over the past five years. Passionate about increasing minority representation in technology leadership, he holds current memberships in the IT Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) where he is a past member of the Board of Directors. With certifications from Carnegie Mellon for Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), it is evident that he strives for authentic and intentional leadership rooted in continuous learning. Mr. Simms has worked for several Fortune 100 companies such as Lockheed Martin, Wells Fargo, and now serves as the Global Cyber and Information Security Strategist for the Fortune “One” company Walmart. His tenacity stems from his mother’s simple teachings to always read, learn, and share knowledge. He believes that with “A Little Bit of HOPE” you can change the world!
