Floyd W. Smith II is an industry-respected C-Suite Executive and dynamic Information Security Director with expertise in Regulatory Compliance (HIPAA, SOX, and PCI) and Identity Access Management. He is a thought leader and trusted business partner with 15+ years of experience in helping high-profile companies streamline business operations, improve cybersecurity, and augment productivity. As recipient of the 2019 Walmart Information Security Supervisory Leader of the Year Award and the 2020 Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA) Modern Day Technology Leader Award, his dedication to growing high performing technology teams is notably impactful. Floyd is an alumnus of Northeastern State University with a master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Management from Langston University. An avid seeker of knowledge, he also holds an IT Project Management Certificate from Georgia Institute of Technology. Outside of the workplace Floyd is passionate about mentoring young, aspirational students and professionals to play his part in helping close the generational financial gap in the African American community. Additionally, Floyd is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the Langston University Alumni Society.
