Our Story: Where Hope Began
A Little Bit of HOPE was founded on a simple truth: talent is everywhere, but the opportunity to excel is not. In the quiet of the pandemic, a group of passionate STEAM professionals saw that for many students in underrepresented communities, the gap between “dreaming” and “doing” was getting wider. We built a bridge to provide the “little bit of hope” required to transform student potential into reality.
A Catalyst for Excellence
Our journey began in Bentonville, Arkansas but our mission belongs to every community where brilliance is waiting to be activated. We strive to cultivate a safe, intentional learning environment for STEAM education built on high expectations and a deep sense of belonging. We are proving that when you combine world-class resources with a community that truly understands the journey, a student’s zip code is never a ceiling for their ambition. Like the world’s most storied academies, we provide a space where curiosity is a superpower and every learner is recognized as the innovator they already are. Through hands-on STEAM programs such as summer camps, field trips, capstone projects, mentorship cohorts, and hackathons, we move beyond the basics. We don’t just teach code or chemistry; we build the confidence and the technical edge required to lead. From mastering the foundations of Artificial Intelligence to solving real-world challenges, we equip our students with the skills needed for a rapidly shifting world.
Engineering the Future
By partnering with schools and industry leaders, we illuminate the path to scholarships and internships, transforming potential into generational wealth and entrepreneurial power. Our goal is to collapse the distance between the classroom and the boardroom by surrounding our students with leaders who mirror their brilliance and speak life into their possibilities. This ensures people of color and young women aren’t just invited to the future—they are the ones designing it. What began as a response to a crisis is now a movement. The world doesn’t just need more talent; it needs more hopeful thinkers ready to build what comes next.
